Life Happens~ Spring!

Lately I have been focusing more on being present, being with my kids.

Enjoying our farm and our schedule.

 Embracing (and ignoring) the messy parts. Accepting. Absorbing.

I am a high-strung person. I expect a level of non-achievable perfection from myself. The past few months have been about unlearning this. About self-love. Self-compassion. This takes practice, serious practice. I now catch myself and the negative mantras that go through my head. I plan to carry this practice through the rest of my life. Practice self-love. Practice gratitude.  It gets easier as time goes on...

Life is amazing.

Morning Gratitude Walks~

One of our favorite things to do as a couple is walk around our farm.

We call them our "Gratitude Walks". We follow the rhythm of the seasons, noting changes and discussing plans for future events and modifications....we love to plan.

Yesterday morning I came across this lacy, lovely, dewey beauty.

The sun has finally come out here in the pnw, and it is so beautiful!

Nature is waking up, and so is my brain~ phew! 

One of our hives sent out a swarm yesterday and we caught it!
So exciting... we will be putting more about it in our bee blog... (stay tuned).
