Brooder Box #2~

The girls are growing fast, and our redneck hippie-rigged brooder box only

worked for a few weeks for 15 babies...

So Paul built a larger brooder box from plywood.

Plenty of room to grow.

They are almost four weeks old, so they will go in the coop

with the older ladies in about 2 weeks.

Stella LOVES the peeps.

They are Rhode Island Red chicks~

New Beginnings~ Spring Flowers

We are LOVING watching the flowers come up. Since this is our first spring here, each blossom that comes up is an exciting discovery. My favorite so far are the daffodils that are all through the field.

Chicken coop/ tractor... pink primer. Will be RED.

New Ameracauna chicks!

Five new girls... they will lay blue/green eggs.
